Book of Claws: Lock & Choose is a 5×3, 10-payline slot set inside an ancient Egyptian treasure hunt.
The game combines two different expanding-symbol mechanics.
In the base game, the Claw Lock Feature can activate randomly and grab one of the symbols on the reels. If enough matching symbols are present, the selected symbol expands to fill its reels and pays across all matching reels, even when they are not adjacent.
During Free Spins, the player takes control through the Choose & Expand Feature. Before the bonus begins, one symbol is selected as the special expanding symbol. Every time it lands during the feature, it can expand across the reel, while the Claw remains active as an additional source of surprise.
This creates a clear difference between the two game states: unpredictable Claw action in the base game, followed by deliberate player choice inside the bonus.
